Producer S. Naga Vamsi has credited the unwavering support of NTR fans for significantly boosting the Sankranti box-office performance of Anaganaga Oka Raju , which has emerged as a strong contender amid one of the most crowded festive release windows in recent years.

Starring Naveen Polishetty and directed by Maari , the film has posted impressive early numbers, grossing ₹41.2 crore worldwide in its first two days . The achievement is notable given the intense competition from high-profile Sankranti releases headlined by Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja and Sharwanand , all of which commanded wide theatrical footprints across Telugu-speaking states and overseas markets.

Taking to social media, Naga Vamsi thanked NTR’s fan base for their aggressive and organic digital promotion , stating that their consistent online engagement helped the film gain traction during its crucial opening days. He praised the fans for amplifying positive word-of-mouth and ensuring the film stayed visible despite the dominance of star-driven releases. Adding to the excitement, the producer teased a special “return gift” announcement , widely believed to be linked to the much-anticipated NTR–Trivikram Srinivas project , tentatively titled Muruga , sparking renewed buzz across social media platforms.

Trade reports indicate that the film maintained strong momentum on day three , recording an average 76 per cent occupancy in prominent theatres across Hyderabad. Industry observers attribute the steady footfalls to positive audience feedback, particularly among youth and family audiences, as well as the film’s relatable narrative and humour-driven storytelling.

Lead actor Naveen Polishetty also celebrated the film’s performance, describing the response as a “rampage” and thanking audiences for embracing the film during a fiercely competitive festival season. Analysts say the success further cements Polishetty’s standing as a dependable box-office draw, especially for content-oriented cinema that does not rely solely on star power.

For Naga Vamsi, the film’s run holds personal significance. The producer described it as his most satisfying Sankranti season since Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) , starring Allu Arjun, and noted that the outcome reaffirmed his belief in backing strong scripts and innovative storytelling.

With positive word-of-mouth, robust occupancy levels and sustained fan-driven promotion, Anaganaga Oka Raju is expected to continue its steady theatrical run through the festive period, highlighting the growing influence of digital fandoms and content-led films in shaping box-office outcomes in the Telugu film industry.
