Naga Chaitanya’s birthday gift to fans: grand NC24 reveal set for November 23

On November 23, actor Naga Chaitanya will mark not just another year in his life but also a major milestone in his cinematic journey, the first look and title of his ambitious film NC24 are set to be unveiled on his birthday.

The film, directed by Karthik Dandu of Virupaksha fame, is being billed as a myth-rooted action thriller. According to the makers, NC24 promises a sweeping, large-scale visual experience, blending ancient mythological elements with high-octane action.

A behind-the-scenes video, released recently, offers a tantalising glimpse into the sheer magnitude of the project. The footage shows extensive sets, painstakingly constructed across acres by hundreds of technicians, brought to life under the creative direction of production designer Sri Nagendra Kumar Tangala. Chaitanya himself is seen undergoing rigorous physical and action training under renowned international choreographer Juji Master, hinting at the physically demanding sequences in the film.

Backed by SVCC (Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra) and Sukumar Writings, the film is being produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar. The technical team includes music by Ajaneesh B. Loknath, editing by Naveen Nooli, and cinematography by Neil D’Cunha, promising a high-quality production.

On the casting front, Meenakshi Chaudhary has been confirmed as the female lead, portraying a character named Daksha. Her first-look poster shows her in expedition gear inside a cave, suggesting she may play an intelligent, investigative figure unraveling mythological mysteries. Meanwhile, Sparsh Shrivastava of Laapataa Ladies fame is set to play the antagonist.

Reports suggest that the narrative of NC24 revolves around a treasure hunter, an archaeologist, and a history student racing against time to decode ancient prophecies and prevent a calamitous catastrophe. The film weaves in mythological motifs, including references to the Kali Yuga, and aims for a pan‑India appeal.

With its title and first look being unveiled on Chaitanya’s birthday, the makers are aiming to make the reveal memorable. Given the scale, technical ambition, and the creative team involved, NC24 is shaping up to be one of the most high-stakes projects in Chaitanya’s career.
