
Music composer M.M. Keeravani to perform at Telangana Rising Global Summit
Oscar-winning music composer M.M. Keeravani is set to deliver a 90-minute live musical concert during the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled for December 8 and 9.
Delegates arriving from across the world will be welcomed with vibrant performances showcasing Telangana’s traditional art forms, including Kommu Koya, Banjara dance, Kolatam, Gussadi, Oggu Dolu, Women’s Dappu, the Perini dance, and Bonalu Kolatam.
According to a post on the official ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ X account, attendees will also get to enjoy a fusion instrumental show, a veena recital by P. Jayalakshmi, and a Perini performance by Sri Kala Krishna.
The government announced that the summit venue will be open to the public from December 10 to 13, with free bus services operating from major locations in Hyderabad to facilitate visitor access.
The Telangana government is making large-scale preparations to host the event on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The same location has been proposed as the site for ‘Bharat Future City’, envisioned as India’s first net-zero city built around sustainability and economic strength.
As part of the summit, the government will also unveil its vision and development roadmap outlining how Telangana aims to become a $3-trillion economy by 2047.
