Mumbai Police have arrested a 51-year-old man accused of orchestrating a medical college admission racket , ending a 12-year search that spanned multiple states. The accused, identified as Abid Yusuf Ansari , was allegedly wanted in several cheating and forgery cases linked to false promises of securing MBBS admissions.
According to police, Ansari, a resident of Nagpada in Mumbai, was arrested following a six-month-long operation involving technical surveillance and intelligence gathered through informant networks.
