MP rolls out ‘Misaal’ for tribal empowerment
The Madhya Pradesh government has launched an ambitious initiative called “Misaal” aimed at nurturing leadership qualities and empowering tribal youth across the state. The programme seeks to provide a platform for young members of tribal communities to showcase their potential and emerge as change-makers in society.
Under Misaal, a series of workshops, leadership camps, and mentoring sessions will be organised in collaboration with educational institutions and community organisations. The initiative will focus on building confidence, improving communication skills, and fostering awareness about social and developmental issues among tribal students and youth.
Officials said the programme is designed not only to prepare tribal youth for leadership roles in their communities but also to enable them to participate in mainstream governance, entrepreneurship, and education. The scheme will also highlight success stories of tribal achievers to inspire others.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister emphasized that Misaal reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive development, ensuring that tribal voices are heard in decision-making processes. By equipping young people with the right skills and exposure, the initiative is expected to bridge gaps in opportunities and open new career avenues for tribal communities.
