Moto X70 Air Pro Brings Flagship Chip, Slim Design, AI Cameras
Motorola is preparing to launch its next premium smartphone, the Moto X70 Air Pro , with the device now appearing on China’s TENAA (Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center) certification database, revealing key hardware specifications ahead of its official debut. The handset is expected to be launched in China later this month, with a global rollout including India likely to follow.
According to the TENAA listing, the Moto X70 Air Pro will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution (1264×2780 pixels) . The phone is listed with an octa-core processor clocked at up to 3.8GHz , strongly indicating the use of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This contradicts earlier reports that suggested the device could be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5.
Previous Geekbench listings have also indicated that the smartphone will run Android 16 out of the box and feature an Adreno 829 GPU , placing it firmly in the flagship segment.
In terms of memory and storage, the Moto X70 Air Pro is expected to be offered in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants , paired with 256GB, 512GB, and up to 1TB of internal storage. No expandable storage support has been mentioned.
Camera specifications are another key highlight. The smartphone is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup , comprising three 50-megapixel sensors , including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom . On the front, the device is expected to house a 50-megapixel selfie camera . Motorola has already teased AI-powered imaging features for the handset.
The TENAA listing further reveals that the Moto X70 Air Pro will pack a 5,100mAh battery . The device has previously cleared China’s 3C certification with support for 90W wired fast charging , while wireless charging is also expected.
Despite housing a large display and battery, the handset maintains a slim profile, measuring 7mm in thickness and weighing around 187 grams . An in-display fingerprint sensor will handle biometric authentication.
While Motorola has not confirmed pricing, industry estimates suggest that the Moto X70 Air Pro could be priced in India between ₹49,999 and ₹59,999 , positioning it as a more affordable alternative to premium flagships from Samsung and Apple.
