
Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 completes filming, eyes summer 2026 release
The much awaited Malayalam thriller Drishyam 3 has officially wrapped its principal photography, marking a major milestone for the final chapter of one of Indian cinema’s most loved franchises.
The team, led by director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor, completed shooting across Thodupuzha, Vagamon, and Ernakulam without any production delays. Mohanlal once again steps into the role of the sharp, resilient Georgekutty, joined by Meena, Esther Anil, and Ansiba Hassan, who reprise their roles as his family.
Behind the scenes glimpses from the final day of filming offered a celebratory look at the wrap, amplifying excitement among fans eager to see how the long running saga will conclude.
The original Drishyam redefined Malayalam cinema in 2013, followed by the 2021 sequel that went on to collect over ₹300 crore globally. With filming now complete, the makers have confirmed that Drishyam 3 is heading into post production and is planned for a Summer 2026 theatrical release.
