Senior BJP leader and Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting, scheduled for the 10th at Secunderabad Parade Grounds , will provide significant momentum to the BJP’s mission of forming the government in Telangana. He made these remarks while attending a preparatory meeting of constituency-level leaders and party workers held at Shubham Convention Hall in LB Nagar , where he also issued key directions for the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Etela Rajender described the BJP as a strongly democratic organisation , likening it to a continuously flowing river that evolves with time. He said the party stands in contrast to regional parties where leadership is often concentrated within families, while the BJP follows a structured system with term limits and wider internal participation. He added that the party’s real strength lies in its disciplined cadre and inclusive representation across sections of society.

Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he said India is regaining its global respect as a knowledge-driven nation under his governance. He noted that Modi is widely recognised for providing stable and decisive leadership and said his upcoming visit to Telangana is especially important as it marks his first after assuming office for a third term.

Expressing disappointment over the BJP not yet coming to power in Telangana, Etela said the state needs a political transformation similar to Gujarat. He pointed out that Malkajgiri has emerged as a strong electoral base for the party, with substantial support from segments like LB Nagar and strong performance in previous GHMC elections . He also said the BJP has consistently raised public issues and reiterated that citizens are the real focus of politics.

Calling upon party workers to intensify their efforts, he said success in politics requires determination and continuous struggle. He encouraged them to place party commitment above personal relationships and appealed for massive public participation to ensure the success of the Parade Grounds meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Rangareddy district BJP president , former corporators, and several party leaders.
