
MLA Bandari Lakshmareddy launches development of Ramantapur Pedda Cheruvu
Development work has begun on Ramantapur Pedda Cheruvu in Uppal constituency, with a focus on beautification and environmental improvement. Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshmareddy inaugurated the project on Saturday. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will oversee the work with an allocated budget of ₹1.60 crore.
Speaking at the event, MLA Lakshmareddy highlighted the importance of the lake as a vital water resource for the residents of Uppal. He emphasized that protecting and developing the lake would not only help maintain ecological balance but also create a pleasant recreational space for the community.
The project will include improvements to the bund, walking tracks, lighting, and landscaping to enhance greenery around the lake. The MLA, along with local corporator Chethan Harish, officially launched the development work.
Local officials, representatives, party leaders, and residents attended the event. Authorities assured that the project would be completed on schedule while maintaining quality standards. Residents expressed hope that once completed, Ramantapur Pedda Cheruvu would become a major attraction in the Uppal area.
