Minister TG Bharat meets Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, discusses key projects

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Food Processing TG Bharat met Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss several projects vital for the state.

During the meeting, Minister Bharat requested full cooperation from the central government to support Andhra Pradesh’s development initiatives. He highlighted the need to strengthen industrial logistics and enhance the competitiveness of major industrial parks, including Orvakal and Sri City, particularly concerning railway siding facilities. The Union Minister responded positively to these proposals.

Minister Bharat also urged the central government to introduce a new rail service between Kurnool and Vijayawada. He emphasized that this service would greatly benefit students, daily commuters, and business communities, and noted that residents of Kurnool have high expectations from this initiative. Union Minister Vaishnaw expressed support for the proposal and assured that appropriate actions would be taken after careful consideration.
