Minister Narayana leads delegation to Dubai to attract investments for Andhra Pradesh
A global investment outreach campaign has been launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh ahead of the CII Partnership Summit 2025, scheduled to take place in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15. The campaign is being undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, with several key ministers travelling abroad to invite global industrialists and investors to participate in the event.
The initiative, coordinated by the Industries and Commerce Department in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is aimed at strengthening the state’s international partnerships and attracting foreign investments into sectors such as energy, infrastructure, information technology, healthcare, and urban development.
Minister Narayana Leads Dubai Outreach
As part of this global initiative, Dr. P. Narayana, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, has been visiting Dubai to hold discussions with leading industry groups and to promote Andhra Pradesh as a preferred investment destination.
On the first day of his visit, Minister Narayana met representatives from Sobha Realty, a major UAE-based real estate firm, and discussed opportunities for collaboration in the development of urban housing and township projects in Andhra Pradesh.
He is also scheduled to meet Jyotsna Hegde, Group Director of Aster Healthcare, along with representatives from KEF Holdings, Burjeel Holdings, and Lulu International Group to explore partnerships in healthcare infrastructure and industrial investment. Meetings with the Consul General of India in Dubai, Satish Sivan, have also been planned to coordinate investor interactions through official channels.
According to officials accompanying the minister, the delegation is presenting detailed investment opportunities in the state, particularly in Amaravati’s urban development, Visakhapatnam’s smart city initiatives, and industrial corridor projects. The minister is expected to extend formal invitations to business leaders to attend the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.
Minister Narayana said that the government of Andhra Pradesh had been implementing investor-friendly policies and transparent governance systems to attract global investments.
“The aim of these meetings is to bring global expertise and capital into Andhra Pradesh’s growth sectors. The state offers immense potential in urban infrastructure, renewable energy, and technology-driven industries,” he stated during his visit.
Six Ministers Assigned to Global Roadshows
According to official communications issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and the Industries and Commerce Department, six ministers have been assigned to lead international delegations under the Invest Andhra Global Roadshows 2025 programme. Each minister has been tasked with covering specific regions and sectors to promote the upcoming summit and strengthen bilateral trade relations.
• N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister, led delegations to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom to conduct roadshows and interact with global industry leaders. The visits were aimed at highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructure, logistics, and investment potential.
• T.G. Bharath, Minister for Industries and Commerce, accompanied the Chief Minister to the UAE, engaging with top business houses in energy, logistics, and heavy industries.
• B.C. Janardhana Reddy, Minister for Investment and Infrastructure, was also part of the UAE delegation, where he met international investment groups and financial institutions.
• G. Ravi Kumar, Minister for Energy, visited Paris, France, to hold discussions with renewable energy and nuclear power companies to explore partnerships in clean energy projects.
• K. Srinivas, Minister for MSME and Handlooms, travelled to Germany to meet with small and medium-scale industrial firms and technology enterprises to encourage their participation in the summit.
• Dr. P. Narayana, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, earlier visited South Korea to engage with companies specialising in smart cities and urban infrastructure before beginning his current visit to Dubai.
These official missions were approved by the General Administration Department (GAD) between October 27 and 30, 2025, as part of the government’s coordinated international investment promotion programme.
Strong Global Response to the Summit
According to the latest data released by the CII Andhra Pradesh Chapter and the Industries and Commerce Department, more than 450 companies have confirmed their participation in the CII Partnership Summit 2025. Among them, over 220 foreign delegates representing 42 countries have registered to attend.
The UAE, Japan, and France have been announced as partner nations for this year’s summit. Several multinational corporations have confirmed attendance, including Masdar Clean Energy, Sobha Realty, Hitachi Ltd., EDF Renewables, BASF SE, and Samsung C&T. Indian conglomerates such as Adani Green Energy, Reliance Industries, Infosys, and Aurobindo Pharma are also expected to participate.
Officials from the CII stated that the summit would feature six plenary sessions and eighteen sectoral meetings, focusing on investment opportunities in infrastructure, energy, digital technologies, and urban transformation. Around 200 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the two-day event.
CII Andhra Pradesh Chairman K. Subba Raju remarked that the large international participation reflects growing investor confidence in Andhra Pradesh.“This summit will be one of the largest ever hosted in the state, bringing together global and domestic leaders under one platform,” he said.
Focus on Andhra Pradesh’s Growth Vision
The state government has positioned the CII Partnership Summit as a major platform to showcase Andhra Pradesh’s “Invest Andhra: Gateway to Global Growth” vision. Officials said that the focus will be on reviving foreign investor confidence, promoting the Amaravati Capital Region, and expanding Visakhapatnam’s role as a global business hub.
It was also stated that the outreach visits were being coordinated with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies abroad to ensure proper facilitation and follow-up with investors.
