
Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar Distributes Free Bicycles To Students In Addanki Mandal
State Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar stated that the coalition government’s primary objective is to ensure that no student is deprived of education due to distance-related challenges .
On Sunday, he participated in several development programmes held at a government school in Vemparala village of Addanki mandal in Bapatla district. On this occasion, the Minister personally distributed free bicycles to 32 students , aiming to support their educational progress. He expressed hope that removing transportation difficulties would encourage rural students to pursue higher education with greater enthusiasm.
Later, the Minister inaugurated a newly constructed “Smaraka Kala Vedika” (memorial cultural stage) on the school premises, built with the support of donors to promote students’ creativity and artistic talents . He emphasised that such platforms are essential to encourage students to excel in multiple fields, not just academics. He also appreciated the donors who contributed to the school’s development.
Gottipati Ravi Kumar noted that under the leadership of State Education Minister Nara Lokesh , the government is committed to strengthening the public education system . He said priority is being given to providing quality education and improved infrastructure in schools to build a bright future for underprivileged students. He expressed confidence that these reforms by the coalition government would transform government schools and offer better opportunities to students.
The programme was attended by local public representatives, education department officials, school staff, and parents of students .
