Coming from an economically disadvantaged family , he depends on an oxygen concentrator and a BiPAP machine to breathe comfortably. Until now, his family had been renting the equipment at a cost of about ₹10,000 per month a heavy financial burden that pushed them into severe hardship.

After learning about their situation, the minister responded without delay. Honouring a promise made during the municipal elections , he invited the family to the Minister’s Quarters in Hyderabad on Monday and personally handed over an oxygen concentrator and a BiPAP machine valued at nearly ₹1 lakh. These devices provide continuous oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation , crucial for patients suffering from chronic respiratory illnesses and capable of improving survival and quality of life.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister stressed that protecting public health remains the government’s foremost priority. He assured that no poor family should be deprived of essential medical care due to financial constraints and emphasized that timely access to life-support equipment can prevent complications and reduce repeated hospital visits.
