Mercedes-Benz India, Zoho partner to launch decentralised dealer management system ‘SKYLine’
Mercedes-Benz India has partnered with software firm Zoho to roll out a decentralised Dealer Management System (DMS) named ‘SKYLine’, marking a major step towards digital transformation of its nationwide dealership network. The initiative aims to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency across all service touchpoints.
The SKYLine system will digitise the entire service lifecycle from booking appointments and digital check-ins to skill-based technician assignments and final vehicle delivery. Through real-time data integration, unified backend operations, and streamlined workflows, the platform promises faster service turnaround and greater transparency for customers.
Explaining the concept, a decentralised management system allows each dealership to operate independently within a common digital framework. Unlike a centralised system where all data and decisions flow through a single hub, the decentralised model gives individual dealers their own Zoho CRM setup. This structure enables them to manage operations locally including customer interactions, service records, and performance tracking while still following centrally defined Mercedes-Benz standards and protocols.
According to a joint statement, the collaboration blends Mercedes-Benz’s luxury service ethos with Zoho’s cloud-based CRM expertise, creating a connected yet flexible ecosystem that empowers both dealers and customers.
The partnership underscores Mercedes-Benz India’s ongoing commitment to digital innovation, strengthening its aftersales network and aligning with the brand’s global focus on offering a seamless, technology-driven ownership experience.
