Mega DSC Has Turned Into a Massive Fraud: Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has levelled serious allegations against the state government over the conduct of the Mega DSC teacher recruitment drive, demanding a CBI investigation into the alleged irregularities .

In a post on X, Jagan accused the government led by N. Chandrababu Naidu of turning the recruitment process into a controversial exercise marked by paper leaks , manipulation , and lack of transparency . He alleged that the earlier DSC notification issued during the YSRCP regime was cancelled for political reasons and replaced with a flawed process that has now sparked widespread criticism.

Raising doubts over the results, Jagan referred to reports that an outsourcing employee linked to SCERT secured the state’s top rank in the examination. He claimed the candidate’s details were later removed from the database after the issue created public outrage. He also questioned why complete merit lists and selection details were not openly displayed, alleging that candidates were informed only through private SMS messages.

The YSRCP chief further accused the government of large-scale corruption in sports quota appointments. According to him, teaching posts were allegedly sold for nearly ₹15 lakh each through politically connected middlemen. He also alleged that fake certificates were used to provide jobs to ineligible candidates, depriving deserving aspirants of opportunities.

Jagan additionally criticised the sudden replacement of the TET convener during the recruitment process, calling the move suspicious. He demanded an impartial investigation into the entire recruitment exercise and said unemployed youth deserved a fair and corruption-free selection process.
