Massive Free Medical Camp Scheduled in Rajahmundry

Former Rajahmundry MP and YSR Congress Party national spokesperson Margani Bharat Ram has announced a mega free medical camp for the benefit of people in the Rajahmundry Parliamentary constituency. The camp will be held on Sunday, May 10, at VV Gardens on Krishna Nagar New Road in Rajahmundry.

After unveiling the poster for the programme, Bharat Ram said around 25 specialist doctors from various medical fields would participate and provide free healthcare services to patients.

Experts in oncology , cardiology , nephrology, pulmonology, orthopaedics, neurology, dental care and gynaecology will offer consultations and treatment at the camp. Free medical tests and medicines will also be provided to attendees.

As part of the initiative, special eye screening services will be conducted, and patients requiring surgery will be offered free eye operations . Bharat Ram said the programme was being organised with the objective of helping economically weaker sections access quality medical treatment without financial burden.

He stated that several people had complained about difficulties in receiving proper Aarogyasri services and the increasing treatment costs in hospitals. In response to these concerns, the free medical camp was being arranged to extend support to the public.

Bharat Ram urged residents of Rajahmundry and the combined Godavari districts to make use of the opportunity. He also invited media representatives and their family members to attend the camp and avail themselves of the services.

Among those present at the event were BC JAC chairman Margani Nageswara Rao, former MLA Routhu Surya Prakasa Rao, Dr Guduri Srinivasa Rao, and YSRCP state secretary Vasanamsetti Gangadhara Rao.
