Marri Retail Donates ₹1 Crore to Tirumala Annaprasadam Trust

In a major boost to free‑meal services for devotees of Lord Sri Venkateswara, Marri Retail Limited , a prominent Chennai shopping mall company, donated ₹1 crore to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust . The donation was handed over on Thursday to TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu at his camp office by the company’s chairman Marri Venkatareddy .

TTD officials welcomed the donation, noting that generous contributions help expand facilities and improve services for the thousands of pilgrims visiting Tirumala. Established in 2001, the trust ensures uninterrupted distribution of Annaprasadam and also provides medical and welfare support to economically disadvantaged devotees.

This contribution is part of a growing wave of philanthropic support for TTD initiatives. In recent months, several individuals and corporate donors have come forward with substantial donations to strengthen the temple’s social and spiritual services, highlighting the community’s active participation in sustaining Tirumala’s revered traditions.
