Manipur: Policeman Among Three Arrested for Alleged Extortion in Imphal West

Three persons, including a serving policeman, have been arrested in Manipur's Imphal West district for their alleged involvement in an extortion case, according to an official statement issued on Friday.

The three accused were arrested on Thursday from their respective residences in different localities of Singjamei, the statement said.

The arrested persons have been identified as Waikhom Amarjit Singh (44), a Havildar with the 1st Manipur Rifles, and Okram Priyokumar Singh (40) and Thongram Sunson Singh (34).
