Mandhana retains top spot, Harmanpreet rises to 7th in women’s ODI rankings

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur moved up to seventh place , while vice-captain Smriti Mandhana continued to retain the top spot in the latest ICC women’s ODI batting rankings released on Tuesday.

Kaur advanced one position after New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine dropped two places to ninth. India’s Jemimah Rodrigues, meanwhile, remained unchanged at 12th.

New Zealand batters made notable gains following their dominant performance against Zimbabwe in the ICC Women’s Championship. Maddy Green climbed five places to 17th, registering a career-best 610 rating points after her 94-run knock in Dunedin, which helped secure a 200-run win and a 3-0 series sweep.

All-rounder Amelia Kerr also progressed significantly, rising from 21st to joint-19th in the batting rankings. She delivered an outstanding all-round performance of 80 runs and 5/22 in the final ODI, earning both Player of the Match and Player of the Series honours. Kerr now holds over 600 rating points in both batting and bowling.

Among others, Isabelle Gaze moved up to 61st in the batting list. In bowling, Rosemary Mair (58th) and Bree Illing (79th) also made progress.

In the T20I rankings, Amelia Kerr achieved a career-best 694 rating points after scoring 78 off 44 balls against South Africa, while retaining eighth position among bowlers. Georgia Plimmer jumped from 50th to 41st after her 63-run knock.

Among T20I bowlers, Jess Kerr climbed 11 places to 23rd, while Sophie Devine surged to 79th following her career-best 4/12.
