Manda Krishna Madiga meets Suryapet collector over Karra Rajesh’s death in custody

Manda Krishna Madiga, leader of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS), along with Karra Rajesh’s mother, Karra Lalithamma, met the Suryapet District Collector on Wednesday to discuss the death of Karra Rajesh while in police custody. The meeting lasted for about an hour.

During the meeting, they demanded the immediate dismissal and arrest of the main accused, SI Chilkuru Suresh Reddy, and called for the suspension of all other police officers involved in the case. They also requested that the previously suspended Kodad Rural CI Pratap Lingam and the remaining police personnel be arrested promptly to ensure justice.

They urged the collector to arrange for a post-mortem review of Rajesh’s body by a team of forensic experts and to conduct a judicial inquiry into the incident. The collector assured them that the government would be informed and that efforts would be made to ensure justice for Karra Rajesh and his family.
