Mamitha Baiju’s Next Tamil Film 'Irandu Vaanam' Gets October 23 Release Date

Mamitha Baiju is enjoying a strong run in 2026, with her recent releases delivering impressive box-office numbers. Her latest outing, 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit', has now crossed Rs 322 crore worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film, according to recent reports.

Amid the success, the latest update is on Mamitha’s upcoming Tamil film 'Irandu Vaanam', co-starring Vishnu Vishal. The makers have officially announced that the romantic drama will hit cinemas worldwide on October 23, 2026. Production house Sathya Jyothi Films made the announcement, describing the film as a story of “love in its most purest, intense form.”

Directed by Ram Kumar, 'Irandu Vaanam' marks his third collaboration with Vishnu Vishal after their acclaimed films 'Mundasupatti' (2014) and 'Ratsasan' (2018). The reunion has generated interest, particularly after the success associated with their earlier collaborations.

The film also brings Mamitha Baiju and Vishnu Vishal together as the lead pair. It is one of Mamitha’s upcoming Tamil projects following her appearances in 'Jana Nayagan' and 'Vishwanath & Sons'. Her 2026 releases have already included films with Vijay, Suriya and Nivin Pauly, giving her a busy year across Tamil and Malayalam cinema.

'Irandu Vaanam' has also begun building anticipation through its music. The track 'Vellischudare' has already attracted attention, while the film features music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas. The shooting was completed last year after a lengthy 150-day schedule.

With Vishnu Vishal and Ram Kumar reuniting for their third film, and Mamitha Baiju entering the project amid a highly successful phase, 'Irandu Vaanam' is now gearing up for its October 23 theatrical release.
