Mallanna slams celebration on temporary halt of BC reservations

Telangana Rajya Adhikara Party (TRAP) president and MLC Teenmar Mallanna has strongly criticized individuals celebrating after a temporary court stay on BC (Backward Classes) reservations. He said such behavior deeply offends the BC community and undermines their rights.

BC rights should not be a cause for celebration Teenmar Mallanna expressed outrage over certain groups reportedly bursting crackers and celebrating after the court temporarily halted BC reservations. “Those celebrating a setback to BC quotas are openly insulting the community and showing disregard for our rights,” he said. “The BC community now clearly understands who its real adversaries are.”

“Our votes are not for them” Teenmar Mallanna also issued a public appeal to BC voters –“The votes of the community should not go to those celebrating our rights being blocked, and we will not support them.” He criticized certain political leaders and upper-caste groups for their stance against BC quotas, accusing them of actively opposing the community’s interests.

Mallanna further claimed that the state’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, is behind the obstacles in court, questioning how a leader with the power to influence 40 million people allowed a few individuals to challenge the reservation in court. “The lawyers arguing against BC reservations also belong to the same group,” he added.

Warning of possible unrest Mallanna warned that continued attempts to block the 42% BC reservation could trigger widespread unrest in the state. He said the government would bear full responsibility for any consequences. “Now is the time for everyone to unite and defend BC rights. Our party will continue to fight for the share that belongs to our community,” he said.
