Madonna, Shakira & BTS to Rock FIFA World Cup Final in Historic Mega Show

In a landmark moment for global sports entertainment, Madonna , Shakira and all seven members of BTS are set to headline a star-studded performance during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium .

The unprecedented 11-minute spectacle will feature RM , Jin , SUGA , J-hope , Jimin , V and Jungkook sharing the stage with two of pop music’s biggest global icons, turning the World Cup final into one of the most anticipated entertainment events of the decade.

The performance has been curated by Chris Martin and is being produced in collaboration with Global Citizen. Organisers say the show will blend music, culture and sport in a way never before seen at a FIFA World Cup final.

Beyond the star power, the event also carries a major humanitarian mission. Proceeds from the performance will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million for children’s education and grassroots football programs around the world.

As part of the campaign, $1 from every World Cup ticket sold will be donated to the fund, expanding ongoing efforts that have already financed several community-level sports and education initiatives globally.

The halftime-style production marks a significant shift for FIFA, drawing inspiration from the entertainment model long associated with the Super Bowl. While World Cup finals have traditionally focused solely on football, the 2026 edition appears poised to merge elite sport with large-scale live entertainment on an unprecedented scale.

With a lineup uniting Western pop royalty and K-pop megastars, the final is expected to attract record global viewership and ignite massive excitement among football fans and music audiences alike.
