‘Lust Stories 3’ To Premiere On Netflix On September 18 With Four New Stories

Netflix’s popular anthology franchise ‘Lust Stories’ is returning with its third instalment, ‘Lust Stories 3’. After the original in 2018 and ‘Lust Stories 2’ in 2023, the franchise is back with four new stories exploring love, lust, desire, intimacy and the complexities of modern relationships.

Netflix has officially confirmed that ‘Lust Stories 3’ will premiere worldwide on September 18, 2026. All four stories will arrive together on the streaming platform, giving the anthology a global release. The franchise, which has earned an International Emmy nomination, continues to bring different filmmakers and stories together under one theme.

The third chapter brings together four acclaimed filmmakers: Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj. Each director presents a distinct story, with the anthology examining relationships, emotional vulnerability, power, agency, compromise and desires that people often struggle to express.

The ensemble cast includes Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada. Netflix’s official listing confirms the full cast and describes the film as a collection of short stories centred on sex, relationships, desire and love.

‘Lust Stories 3’ is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, with Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua backing the project. The new instalment marks another collaboration between Netflix and the filmmakers behind some of India’s acclaimed contemporary cinema.

The first ‘Lust Stories’, released in 2018, featured segments directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar. ‘Lust Stories 2’ followed in 2023 with stories from R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh.

With four new filmmakers, a strong ensemble and four fresh perspectives on modern intimacy, ‘Lust Stories 3’ is now set to stream exclusively on Netflix from September 18, 2026.
