Lotus vs Car symbol, Bandi Sanjay takes on KTR

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar has strongly countered BRS working president and former minister K.T. Rama Rao’s recent remarks against the BJP’s lotus symbol. In a sharp response on X (formerly Twitter), Sanjay linked the spiritual symbolism of the lotus to the BJP’s resilience - while mocking the declining state of the BRS, symbolized by its “car” emblem.

Taking a dig at KTR, Sanjay said that the BRS’s “car” is now so damaged that it’s lying in a shed beyond repair, and “no one is even willing to buy it second-hand.”

Defending the sanctity of the lotus, Sanjay wrote - “Only those who lack wisdom say that the lotus has no divine value. Lord Brahma sits on a lotus, Lord Vishnu holds it in his hand, and Goddess Lakshmi and Saraswati also sit on it. The lotus rises above the water - no matter how high the water level gets, it remains untouched. Similarly, the BJP will continue to grow stronger despite challenges.”

Calling out KTR and others as “atheists making noise,” Sanjay said their attempts to bring down the BJP will fail. “The lotus - our symbol - stands for purity and strength. Just as it rises above muddy waters, the BJP will continue to rise above political mudslinging,” he asserted.

Sanjay concluded by saying that the BRS leaders should worry about their own sinking party before commenting on the BJP.
