
Lokesh Launches ‘Blue Jet’ Pharma Unit in Rambilli
The coalition government has initiated a major push towards industrial growth in the state, marking the foundation of a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in North Andhra .
State Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh laid the foundation stone for Blue Jet Health Care Private Limited at the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Seethapalem, located in Achyutapuram of Anakapalli district. The minister was accorded a traditional welcome upon his arrival at the industrial park in Rambilli mandal.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, Lokesh unveiled the project plaque and performed the customary rituals. The upcoming pharma facility is expected to attract an investment of nearly ₹2,300 crore . The unit will focus on pharmaceutical intermediates and contract development and manufacturing operations.
The project is projected to generate employment opportunities for around 1,750 local residents , offering a significant boost to the region’s economy.
Recognized internationally in the specialty pharmaceuticals and healthcare segment, the company has been allotted 102.48 acres by the state government. The construction will be completed in three phases .
