Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh has expressed serious concern over repeated death threats to him and his family, and has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking immediate security protection .

In his letter, Raja Singh stated that he has been receiving life-threatening calls and letters from unidentified persons for a long time. He said the threats are now targeting his family members as well . Despite lodging multiple complaints with the local police , there has been no response from the authorities , he alleged, adding that official negligence has put his family in serious danger .

He demanded that those behind the threats be identified and strict action be taken against them. He also called for a time-bound, high-level investigation , early arrest of the accused, and adequate security arrangements for himself and his family.

Raja Singh said this would be his final letter on the issue. “I will not request security anymore. I have shown patience out of respect for the law, but my patience has been exhausted,” he said, adding that previous letters only received acknowledgement cards with no follow-up action. He warned that if any harm comes to his family, the administration will be held responsible .

In a strong statement , he said that if the government fails to respond, he would not hesitate to protect himself . “If anything happens to my family, I will not go to the police again. I will take up arms myself and eliminate those responsible. The consequences that follow will be the responsibility of those who ignored my complaints,” he stated.

Meanwhile, he noted that on March 18 , he received a threat letter warning that the Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra on March 27 would be his last. The letter reportedly said, “Raja Singh, March 27 will be your last Ram Navami. Telangana Police cannot do anything to us.” He urged the Chief Minister, DGP, and Police Commissioner to identify those issuing repeated threats through phone calls and letters .
