LIC HFL announces recruitment for 192 apprentices

LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL) has opened applications for a significant apprenticeship program, inviting fresh graduates to apply for 192 Apprentice posts. This one-year training opportunity aims to provide hands-on experience and valuable industry exposure in the financial sector.

The online application portal became active on September 2, 2025, and will remain open until September 22, 2025. All aspiring candidates are urged to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid any technical issues.

Eligibility and Selection Process

The apprenticeship is open to graduates in any stream who have completed their degree between September 1, 2021, and September 1, 2025. Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years old as of September 1, 2025. A key eligibility condition is that candidates should not have a completed, running, or terminated apprenticeship contract with any other organization.

The selection process is a two-stage process:

• Online Entrance Examination: The exam, conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India, is scheduled for October 1, 2025. It will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering topics such as Basic Banking, Investment, Insurance, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Digital Literacy, Computer Knowledge, and English. The exam duration is 60 minutes.

• Document Verification & Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a personal interview at LIC HFL offices between October 8 and October 14, 2025.

Stipend and Application Fee

Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 12,000 for the duration of the 12-month program. It is important to note that this is a training stipend, and apprentices are not entitled to additional benefits like HRA or other allowances.

The application fee is tiered based on the candidate's category:

• General & OBC Candidates: Rs. 944

• SC, ST & Female Candidates: Rs. 708

• PwBD Candidates: Rs. 472
