Lenin , starring Akhil Akkineni , is emerging as one of the biggest Telugu success stories of the season. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu , the film has registered a strong opening weekend at the box office while also achieving something equally significant by staying largely free from piracy leaks.

Coming after a major setback with his previous release, Akhil Akkineni has made a remarkable comeback with Lenin . Audiences have embraced the film wholeheartedly, and many fans and critics are calling it the finest performance of his career. The positive word of mouth has translated into impressive theatrical collections, giving the actor a much needed blockbuster.

Adding to the celebrations, Megastar Chiranjeevi , known for encouraging quality cinema, took to X to congratulate the entire Lenin team on the film's success. Akhil's heartfelt reply instantly grabbed attention, as he affectionately addressed Chiranjeevi as "Pedda Nanna" . The interaction quickly went viral, delighting both Mega and Akkineni fans.

The warm exchange once again highlighted the close relationship between the two legendary film families. Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna have shared a long standing friendship, while Akhil Akkineni and Ram Charan have often spoken about their brotherly bond. Interestingly, Akhil had recently postponed Lenin's release to avoid clashing with Ram Charan's Peddi , a gesture that was widely appreciated within the industry.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest positives for Lenin has been its clean opening weekend without any major piracy concerns across most release territories. Producer Naga Vamsi had earlier revealed in an interview that Indian films sent to the UAE for censorship and release often become vulnerable to piracy leaks.

Keeping that concern in mind, Lenin was reportedly neither released in the UAE nor sent there for censorship. While the makers have not officially confirmed this as an anti piracy strategy, the film has so far avoided major leaks, prompting many industry observers to praise Naga Vamsi's approach.

If this strategy has indeed helped curb piracy, it could become a valuable lesson for future Telugu cinema releases, especially big budget films that depend heavily on strong opening weekend collections.
