Legal Relief for Former Minister Ambati Rambabu as Court Grants Bail

Former minister and YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu has won a significant legal victory after the Guntur court granted him bail in a case registered at Pattabhipuram Police Station . The case, linked to protests against the privatization of medical colleges , had accused Rambabu of disrupting police operations.

The court rejected police efforts to place him in custody, instead asking him to provide two surety bonds of Rs. 10,000 each , paving the way for his release. This follows his earlier bail in a case regarding alleged comments against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu , marking a string of legal wins for the former minister.

Release and Political Repercussions

Rambabu, currently in remand at Rajahmundry Central Jail , could be freed as soon as all procedural requirements are completed. Despite the bail, speculation lingers that authorities might still pursue older cases from Sattenapalli , keeping political analysts on alert.

Speaking on social media , Rambabu highlighted that malice, attacks, and conspiracies cannot silence him . His daughter, Ambati Mounika , condemned the repeated remands, contrasting them with the quick release of others who allegedly attacked their family, and attributed the court’s decision to divine intervention by Lord Venkateswara .

A Legal and Political Turning Point

The successive bail rulings have injected a sense of relief among Rambabu’s supporters, while also shining a light on the broader political tensions between ruling and opposition leaders in Andhra Pradesh. The developments are expected to influence both public perception and political strategies in the run-up to future legal and electoral battles.
