KTR Hits Back: Legal Notices to Bandi Sanjay, Dharmapuri Aravind
Telangana Minister and BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has served legal notices to Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind . The notices allege that both leaders made baseless accusations against him and his family , causing reputational damage . KTR has warned that if they fail to respond within five days , strict action will be taken under civil and criminal law .
KTR stated that individuals holding responsible positions attempted to tarnish his political reputation through unfounded and reckless remarks . The notices emphasize that such statements were made with malicious intent to undermine public trust in him and demanded an immediate public retraction along with an unconditional apology .
The notice to Bandi Sanjay Kumar specifically references his remarks regarding alleged phone tapping . During a press conference on January 23 , Bandi Sanjay claimed that KTR’s family profited crores of rupees through phone tapping and that celebrity phones were being monitored. Legal representatives clarified that these allegations are completely false . They also noted that a defamation case against Bandi Sanjay is already pending in the City Civil Court , and reiterated that repeating such statements is illegal .
Similarly, the notice to Dharmapuri Aravind condemned his personal attacks , including claims that KTR is involved in using and supplying drugs . The notice pointed out that making such statements without evidence against a former minister who has contributed to the state’s development and IT sector expansion is unacceptable. KTR emphasized that any attempt to defame him for political gain will have legal consequences .
