KTR Gets Prestigious Academic Invitation from Jindal Global University

BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has received an invitation from the prestigious O.P. Jindal Global University in Haryana to visit the campus, interact with students and faculty, and deliver a special lecture.

The invitation was extended by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Dr) C. Raj Kumar, who wrote to KTR highlighting the potential value of his interaction with the academic community. The Vice-Chancellor said KTR’s ideas and perspectives would offer inspiration and encouragement to students, and expressed the university’s interest in hosting the programme at a mutually convenient time in September or October 2026.

During his proposed visit, KTR has also been invited to tour the university’s Constitution Museum and Academy for Rights and Freedoms. The museum, established to commemorate 75 years since the adoption of the Indian Constitution, showcases the journey behind the framing of the Constitution, including the challenges, debates and efforts of its makers.

The university also highlighted its history of hosting several prominent personalities at various programmes, including Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Chief Justices of India, Union Ministers, Governors and Supreme Court judges.

Responding to the invitation, KTR thanked the university authorities for the gesture and said he was looking forward to engaging with the students. He also confirmed that he would attend the programme and participate in the interaction with the university community.

The proposed visit is expected to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to hear directly from KTR on his experiences and perspectives during the special academic engagement.
