Krithi Shetty to Make Bollywood Debut With Untitled Love Story

Actress Krithi Shetty, who rose to fame with the Telugu film Uppena, is set to make her Bollywood debut with an untitled romantic film. The makers formally announced the project after visiting Tirumala to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

The upcoming film will mark the directorial debut of Vidhi Ghodgaonkar, an assistant director, casting director and dialogue writer who has worked with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for more than 17 years. The project represents a new opportunity for Krithi as she prepares to expand her career into Hindi cinema.

AVS Studios, owned by Abhishek S. Vyas, is producing the film. Following the formal announcement, the makers are expected to begin regular shooting soon. However, the team has not yet revealed the name of the male lead or shared further details about the film’s cast and storyline.

The Bollywood project comes at a time when Krithi Shetty is looking for a significant comeback in her acting career. Despite gaining recognition after Uppena, the actress has not delivered notable box-office successes in recent years.

Her upcoming Telugu film, January 12 Vidudala, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is expected to be an important release for her, with audiences waiting to see whether it can help revive her career prospects.

Krithi also has Genie in her lineup. Although the film has completed production, its release date is yet to be announced.

With a Bollywood debut, an upcoming Telugu project and another completed film awaiting release, Krithi Shetty has several opportunities ahead. The response to her new Hindi film and the performance of her upcoming releases will determine how this phase shapes her career.
