Komuravelli Mallanna Kalyanotsavam begins with grandeur as minister presents silk garments

The annual Kalyanotsavam of Lord Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy, popularly known as Mallanna, commenced in a grand manner on Sunday at the renowned shrine in Siddipet district. From the early hours, the temple premises witnessed a heavy influx of devotees, with traditional and auspicious music adding to the festive ambience.

Marking the occasion, Minister Konda Surekha offered silk garments to the deity with devotion and participated in special prayers and rituals. Temple priests conducted the ceremonies in accordance with Vedic traditions, accompanied by the chanting of sacred hymns. A large number of devotees took part in the celebrations and sought the blessings of the deity.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister prayed for peace, prosperity, good health and well-being for the people of the State.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities, temple authorities made elaborate arrangements for devotees, including enhanced security, drinking water facilities and organised distribution of prasadam. The Kalyanotsavam will continue over the coming days with a series of religious and spiritual programmes.
