Koluvula Panduga: CM Issues Job Letters to 1,370 Group-III Candidates

1,370 candidates selected for Group-III services across 25 departments stepped into government service on a celebratory note as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy formally handed over their appointment letters at the “Koluvula Panduga” programme under Praja Palana at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad . Calling it more than just a recruitment drive, the Chief Minister said the state is committed to filling all pending government vacancies in the coming days, while simultaneously preparing young people with world-class skills to thrive in the private sector.

The appointments are part of Group-III Notification No. 29/2022 , issued in December 2022. The recruitment process advanced through written examinations conducted on November 17 and 18, 2024 , followed by the release of the General Ranking List in March 2025. Officials said the government is working to restore public confidence in recruitment by strengthening reforms in the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) and ensuring timely appointments.

Addressing the newly selected employees, CM Revanth Reddy urged them to become partners in Telangana’s rebuilding , reminding them that public service carries the responsibility of serving four crore citizens . He called for integrity, discipline and compassion, saying governance reforms can succeed only when officials work with sincerity. “Serve in a way that after 30 to 35 years you can proudly say you worked for Telangana with your head held high,” he said.

The Chief Minister also contrasted the present push with the previous decade, noting that large-scale recruitments were delayed between 2014 and 2024 , including prolonged gaps in key examinations. He said the present government is treating recruitment for Group-I, II, III and IV like a mission. Highlighting progress, he claimed the state has already filled around 70,000 jobs in the last two years and is moving towards crossing the one-lakh appointments mark.

CM Revanth Reddy also flagged the challenge of quality education , pointing out that 16.5 lakh students study in government schools while 33 lakh students attend about 11,000 private schools . He stressed that strong education and employable skills are essential for Telangana’s ambition of becoming a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047 .
