KNRUHS starts MBBS, BDS counselling

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has started the counselling process for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The counselling and certificate verification are being held at KNRUHS in Warangal from September 9 to 11.

All eligible students who want to secure admission must personally attend this counselling with the required original documents. This step is important because it helps the university confirm the details provided in applications and ensure fairness in the admission process.

As per Supreme Court directions, special eligibility is also given to children of Telangana government employees who are working outside the State. This includes employees of All India Services belonging to the Telangana cadre, defence personnel and ex-servicemen, Central Armed Police Forces, and staff of government corporations or agencies. These employees are often transferred across India, and their children’s education gets affected. To support such families, KNRUHS allows these students to participate in the Telangana admission process.

For such cases, the candidate must bring a valid certificate from a competent authority confirming that their parent is or was serving outside Telangana during the relevant study years. Without this proof, they cannot claim the benefit.
