Khairatabad Gets a Mega G+2 Function Hall at NBT Nagar!

Residents of Banjara Hills Road No. 12 in Khairatabad can finally celebrate a long-standing demand. A newly constructed G+2 multi-purpose function hall in NBT Nagar was inaugurated in a grand ceremony by Ponnam Prabhakar , Minister for Transport and BC Welfare and Hyderabad District In-Charge, alongside Hyderabad Mayor Gadvvaal Vijayalakshmi .

Built at a cost of approximately ₹10 crore under the GHMC’s supervision , the facility is now the largest community center in Khairatabad. The three-story building is equipped with modern amenities, designed to host social gatherings, cultural events, and personal celebrations at minimal costs for local residents.

The government ensured that quality infrastructure is available for the economically weaker and middle-class sections , with a multi-purpose design maximizing public utility.

The inauguration was attended by senior officials including Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao , MP Anil Kumar Yadav , MLC Balmuri Venkat , Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Sobhan Reddy , and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan .

GHMC stated that the goal is to provide enhanced public facilities in every division of Hyderabad, strengthening the development of local colonies. With the function hall now operational, residents of NBT Nagar and surrounding areas have expressed their delight.
