
Key meeting on Telangana-Germany cooperation
Telangana officials held a high-level meeting with a German parliamentary delegation at the State Public Hall to strengthen cooperation across various sectors. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
During the discussions, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in IT, defense, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. They also focused on potential investments, skill development initiatives, and ways to boost bilateral growth through shared expertise.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said Telangana is ready to partner with Germany to promote mutual growth by leveraging innovation and skilled human resources. He highlighted the state’s advanced industrial and technological ecosystem and explained the investment opportunities available for German companies, emphasizing the government’s supportive policies and transparent systems.
The officials also noted Telangana’s strengths, including a favorable business environment, skilled workforce, and proactive industry policies, as key factors attracting international interest.
The German delegation praised Telangana’s fast-growing technology sector, startup ecosystem, innovation hubs, research-driven industrial development, and the internationally recognized pharmaceutical industry in Hyderabad. They also acknowledged the state’s emerging capabilities in defense manufacturing, viewing these areas as promising for future partnerships.
