

Kerala Chief Minister Holds Talks With PM Modi In New Delhi
Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to the state’s development .
The meeting marked Satheesan’s first interaction with the Prime Minister after assuming office following the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) victory in the recent Keralam Assembly elections.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister's Office said, “Chief Minister of Keralam, Shri @vdsatheesan met Prime Minister @narendramodi.”
After the meeting, Satheesan said he discussed key matters concerning Keralam and sought the Centre’s help and cooperation for the state’s future growth and development .
During the interaction, the chief minister also presented Modi with a statuette of a Kathakali dancer , symbolising Keralam’s globally recognised classical dance-drama tradition and cultural heritage .
The meeting is being viewed as significant in the context of Centre-state relations , development priorities and administrative coordination between the Union government and Keralam.
