Telangana activist and Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has approached the State Election Commission, alleging that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy violated the election code by using government funds to campaign during the village panchayat elections.

Kavitha claimed that in recent public meetings in Maktal and Kothagudem, the Chief Minister urged voters to support certain sarpanches aligned with ministers and MLAs, effectively campaigning on behalf of the ruling party. She said this amounted to a clear breach of the election code.

According to Kavitha, the CM is using government programs as a cover to promote the ruling party, which involves misuse of public funds. She stated that she had already submitted a written complaint to the State Election Commission on November 30, but no action has been taken so far.

Kavitha demanded an immediate investigation and strict enforcement of election rules to ensure a transparent election process.
