Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival to be held on Apr 3-4

The Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival (KRBF) is set to return on April 3 and 4, 2026 , at the scenic Baikunth Resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, bringing together music lovers and social supporters in the Himalayan hills for its milestone 10th edition .

Presented by 1842 Kasauli by Scapes and organised by the Genesis Foundation , the festival celebrates its decade‑long journey of combining music with social impact while supporting underprivileged children suffering from congenital heart defects (CHD) .

Across two days of live performances, audiences can expect a diverse mix of rock, indie, blues and contemporary Indian music against the backdrop of Kasauli’s lush hills. The announced line‑up includes popular artists such as Indian Ocean, Nirmala Kannan, Shamaji and The Happy Factory, Prince, Mansa Jimmy, Shrey Tandan, True Blue and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya .

First launched in 2012, KRBF has evolved into one of North India’s most recognised purpose‑led music festivals , known for its intimate setting and community spirit. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations go directly toward funding life‑saving surgeries, catheter‑based interventions and post‑operative care for critically ill children from low‑income families.

The festival operates as a transparent fundraising platform: Genesis Foundation reports that 100 percent of individual donations are used for treatment, with administrative costs covered separately, and has supported treatment for more than 5,400 children over 25 years.

Organisers emphasise that the event is not only an entertainment experience but also a call to collective action against healthcare inequities. The partnership with Kasauli in 1842 Kasauli reflects shared commitments to sustainability, heritage preservation and community engagement within the region. Sameer Mutreja, founding director of Scapes India, said the collaboration amplifies both cultural celebration and meaningful social contribution.

The festival supports children from families earning Rs 20,000 or less per month and is registered under the Income Tax Act, authorised to receive foreign contributions.
