The Karnataka government has announced the expansion of its flagship Marusinchana scheme to 27 educational districts, aiming to boost access to quality learning resources for students across the state. Initially launched on a pilot basis, the scheme focuses on providing digital tools, modern teaching methods, and improved infrastructure to enhance the overall learning experience.

The Marusinchana initiative emphasizes bridging the urban-rural education gap by equipping government schools with smart classrooms, digital content, and teacher training modules. The expansion will cover nearly two-thirds of the state’s districts, ensuring that students from remote areas gain exposure to modern educational practices.

Education officials highlighted that the scheme will integrate e-learning platforms, interactive digital lessons, and performance-tracking systems to help teachers personalize learning for students. Special attention will also be given to training teachers in technology adoption, enabling them to effectively use digital content in classrooms.

The government has assured that the expansion will be backed with adequate funding, monitoring, and partnerships with technology providers. By extending the scheme, Karnataka aims to raise student performance levels, reduce dropout rates, and prepare learners for competitive opportunities in higher education and careers.
