Karimnagar CP Comments in Question: Kaushik Reddy Demands Proof

Huzaurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has strongly refuted reports suggesting that he accused the Karimnagar Police Commissioner of favoring religious conversions. Speaking out against allegations made by the Telangana IPS Officers Association , Reddy insisted there is no truth to the claims.

He challenged anyone who can prove he made such statements, saying he would resign from his MLA post and quit politics permanently. However, if no proof emerges, he demanded that the Telangana IPS Officers Association issue a public apology . He warned that failure to apologize would compel him to move a privilege motion in the Assembly.

Reddy emphasized that he has always spoken responsibly as a public representative and condemned baseless allegations against him. He urged for clarity in the matter and called for an end to false propaganda .

On Friday, the Telangana IPS Officers Association released an official statement expressing strong objection to Reddy’s remarks. The association alleged that his comments on the Karimnagar Police Commissioner and other officials were inappropriate and demanded an immediate public apology .
