Kannada Film and TV Actor Dileep Raj No More

Kannada actor and television personality Dileep Raj passed away on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack, film industry sources said. He was 47 .

Raj was a familiar face in the Kannada entertainment industry for over two decades, with a career spanning television serials, films and production work. He began his journey in television, where he earned early recognition before transitioning to cinema.

He made his film debut with Boyfriend and went on to appear in several notable Kannada films, including Milana (2005), where he played an antagonist opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. Over the years, he featured in films such as Tony , U Turn , Orchestra Mysuru and Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu , earning appreciation for his supporting and character roles.

Raj was also active on television, both as an actor and producer. Under his production banner DR Creations, he was associated with popular Kannada serials, including Hitler Kalyana . His work in television helped him maintain a strong connection with Kannada households alongside his film career.

Recently, he was seen in* _*Love Mocktail 3*_ *, portraying a lawyer, continuing his active presence in the industry.

He is survived by his wife and two children. The news of his sudden demise has led to condolences from members of the Kannada film and television fraternity.
