'Kadhiri Kalidas' Chiranjeevi Leaks His Character Name From 'Kaaka'

Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again given fans an unexpected glimpse into his upcoming film 'Kaaka', revealing his character’s name as Kadhiri Kalidas during a recent public interaction with anchor Sravanthi Chokarapu. Chiranjeevi also hinted at a connection between the name and Sravanthi’s hometown, turning the casual exchange into another talking point around Bobby Kolli’s action drama.

The latest revelation is particularly intriguing because the film’s first glimpse introduced Chiranjeevi by another name, K Satyam. In the video, Satyam works as a supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries in Ravulapalem. A routine moment involving a scooter key suddenly turns dramatic when a magnet pulls several weapons out of a water tank, hinting at a hidden past.

The glimpse then shifts to a younger and more stylish version of Chiranjeevi, raising questions about whether the actor is playing multiple shades of the same character or whether the younger portions belong to a flashback. The makers have deliberately kept those details under wraps.

Chiranjeevi’s latest leak comes at a time when 'Kaaka' has been steadily building its promotional campaign. Anaswara Rajan was recently introduced as Ammulu Paapa, with the makers calling her the “heart of 'Kaaka'”. Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Kannada actor Rachita Ram are also part of the cast.

The project is Chiranjeevi’s second collaboration with Bobby Kolli after 'Waltair Veerayya'. It is produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, marking the banner’s first Telugu production. S Thaman is composing the music, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling cinematography.

The team recently entered a lengthy and crucial Hyderabad shooting schedule, with Chiranjeevi and the main cast participating as the makers race towards the Sankranthi deadline. The production house has also been progressing with post production alongside the shoot.

The release date itself became a talking point after reports suggested Chiranjeevi’s delayed 'Vishwambhara' could also target Sankranthi 2027. The speculation led to questions over whether 'Kaaka' would move. However, KVN Productions firmly put those rumours to rest, confirming that the film will arrive worldwide on January 13, 2027. Bobby Kolli also reinforced the announcement with the message, “No doubts, no delays.”
