Jr NTR Undergoes Successful Shoulder Surgery at KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad

Telugu actor Jr NTR has successfully undergone arthroscopic surgery for a shoulder injury at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad, with the hospital confirming that the procedure was completely successful.

According to a health bulletin issued by KIMS Hospitals on Wednesday, Jr NTR suffered the injury and, following consultations and follow-up care with a team of medical specialists, was advised to undergo arthroscopic surgery to support a quicker and more complete recovery.

The procedure was performed by a team of orthopaedic surgeons led by Dr RA Purnachandra Tejaswi, Dr Nithin Bejjanki, Dr Madhusudan Rao and Dr Srinivas Rao Surapaneni. The hospital said the actor is doing fine after the surgery and will now begin a structured rehabilitation programme under medical supervision.

Doctors expect Jr NTR to make a full recovery and return to his normal routine within two to three months. The health bulletin was issued by Dr Sambit Sahu, Director-Medical Services and Medical Director and Head of Critical Care at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad.

Jr NTR sustained the shoulder injury on July 27, following which doctors had initially advised him to take around six to eight weeks of rest. His team had also reassured fans that there was no cause for panic, stating that the actor was stable and receiving medical care. It urged the public and media to avoid speculation and rely on authorised updates.

On the professional front, Jr NTR is set to collaborate with director Trivikram Srinivas for an upcoming film officially announced in June. The project is being positioned as a grand mythology-inspired spectacle, blending powerful emotions, action and large-scale world-building.

The film's promotional material features a trident and spear alongside a DNA motif, with the tagline, "One Spear, One Purpose... One Divine Reckoning." Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.

The project is jointly produced by S. Radha Krishna (China Babu) under Haarika & Hassine Creations and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under NTR Arts. With his surgery completed successfully, Jr NTR will now focus on rehabilitation before returning to his professional commitments.
