Jr NTR Suffers Shoulder Injury, Doctors Advise 6–8 Weeks of Rest

Actor Jr NTR has suffered a shoulder injury and has been advised by doctors to take six to eight weeks of rest, according to an official health update issued by his team on Monday.

The statement reassured fans, well-wishers and the media that there is no cause for panic, confirming that the actor is in stable condition, resting comfortably, and receiving the highest standard of medical care.

"We would like to reassure all fans, well-wishers, and members of the media that there is absolutely no cause for panic. NTR is currently in stable condition, resting comfortably, and receiving the highest standard of medical care," the statement said.

The team also appealed to the media and the public to avoid speculation or circulating unverified reports regarding the actor's health. It added that all official updates on his recovery and the resumption of his work commitments will be shared only through authorized channels. Jr NTR and his team also expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for their love, prayers and continued support during this period.

On the professional front, Jr NTR is set to reunite with director Trivikram Srinivas for an ambitious new project, which was officially announced in June. Sharing the announcement on social media, the actor wrote, "The Son of Shiva. The Pride of Parvathi. The Eternal Commander. And, once again with TRIVIKRAM. #NTRxTrivikram."

The announcement poster, featuring a trident and spear merging with a DNA motif, carries the tagline "One Spear, One Purpose... One Divine Reckoning." The makers describe the film as a grand mythology-inspired spectacle, blending powerful storytelling, intense emotions, breathtaking action and expansive world-building.

The film's music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It is jointly produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under NTR Arts.
