
Jio partners Good Game Group to launch global gaming reality show ‘Good Game India’
Reliance Jio has announced a strategic partnership with Good Game Group INC to launch Good Game (GG) India , described as the world’s first “as-live” global gaming reality show aimed at discovering India’s first global gaming superstar . The initiative is being rolled out through Jio’s gaming and digital entertainment ecosystem, JioGames , and marks a major push by the company into the fast-growing esports and digital entertainment sector.
The show is scheduled to premiere in July 2026 and is expected to reach more than 500 million young viewers across India. Audiences will be able to watch the programme and related exclusive content through Jio’s digital platforms, including JioHotstar, JioTV and the JioGames website and mobile application.
According to the organisers, Good Game India will follow a unique competitive reality format that blends esports with mainstream entertainment . Contestants will compete in gaming tournaments as well as real-world challenges while being judged on multiple parameters such as gaming ability , creativity , on-screen presence , content creation skills and their capacity to build and engage online communities .
The show will feature prominent personalities from entertainment, sports and the gaming industry as global ambassadors and judges. Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant and gaming creator Ujjwal Chaurasia have been announced as key faces associated with the programme. Organisers have also announced a prize money of ₹1 crore for the winner, one of the highest rewards for a reality show champion in India. The winner will also receive an opportunity to represent India at a global gaming stage .
