Jackie Shroff Turns Earth’s Last Protector in ‘The Great Grand Superhero’

The trailer of, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Manish Saini, was unveiled on Monday, offering a glimpse into a fantasy adventure centred on family, courage and imagination. Saini is best known for directing acclaimed Gujarati films such as, which won the National Award for Best Children’s Film, and , another critically appreciated children’s drama.

Backed by Zee Studios and Amdavad Films , the film stars Jackie Shroff in the role of a grandfather believed to be Earth’s last surviving superhero.

The trailer showcases a whimsical and emotional journey where a young boy discovers extraordinary secrets about his grandfather, leading to an adventure involving aliens, fantasy elements and superhero themes. Alongside Jackie Shroff , the film features Prateik Smita Patil, Bhagyashree Dasani, Sharat Saxena and several others in pivotal roles.

Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal and Manish Saini, the film blends humour, emotion and science-fiction elements while aiming to appeal to audiences across age groups. The makers said the movie celebrates the bond between generations through an imaginative superhero story rooted in Indian sensibilities.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 29, 2026.
