It’s a wrap! Shahid, Rashmika and Kriti celebrate Cocktail 2 with a cheerful wrap party

Mumbai saw a cheerful film set turn into a celebration zone as Cocktail 2 officially completed its shoot, with actors Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon marking the moment with an intimate wrap party alongside director Homi Adajania .

After weeks of filming, the team chose smiles over speeches. Homi shared a warm group picture on Instagram that quickly caught fans’ attention. The photo shows the lead trio and the director standing close, relaxed and happy, reflecting the comfort and chemistry they seem to have built during the shoot.

Calling the film “a tad special,” Homi expressed gratitude to the cast and crew for their support and patience throughout the journey. “Cocktail 2 shoot wrapped. I may be biased, but this one feels a tad special. Big love to my fab crew and cast for tolerating the absurdity that I am. Love you guys,” the filmmaker wrote.

The sequel has already created strong buzz, thanks to its fresh casting and the popularity of the original Cocktail (2012) . The first film, starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty , struck a chord with urban audiences for its modern, honest take on love, friendship and complicated relationships, becoming both a commercial and cult favourite.

This new chapter is written by Luv Ranjan and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films . While the makers have kept the storyline tightly under wraps, expectations are high that the sequel will carry the same youthful energy while offering a contemporary twist.

For now, the team is celebrating a job well done. The release date has not yet been announced , but with shooting wrapped and post production underway, fans can expect updates soon.
